Mark's Custom Hop Back

This Hop Back was custom designed for Mark. Mark is putting together a brand new all grain brew system. I felt that with a new brew pot, self built CFC (it's nice), new wort pump and new mash tun, he deserved the Best in a hop back. This hop back was built using 1/2" flare fittings. The canister is an 8 cup (1.92L) stainless steel unit. The loose fitting in the last picture will be attached to the kettle ball valve (Zymico). The hop back connects directly to it with the top flare connection. He will be using high temperature 1/2" hose from the hop back to his pump. The hose connections will also be 1/2" flare fittings. All the metal to metal flare connections will have flare washers to provide excellent sealing without the use of wrenches.
